Our Projects

 

BLC LTD has so far coordinated and led various projects for numerous clients in many business sectors (i.e. Real Estate & Tourism, IT & Telecom, Green Energy, Food & Beverages, Professional Services) in various European, Middle East and Asian countries. An indicative, but not exhaustive list of such projects is as follows:

  • Project 1: FOOD INDUSTRY +

    A big Cypriot Cheese-halloumi manufacturer have used BLC services via private funding in order to assist this company in creating a Cheese factory in Syria (or Jordan). Specifically, they wanted us to find for them Syrian local companies/investors who would be interested in co-investing in the creation of such a factory in any of these countries. BLC has run a team of 6 Cypriot and Syrian experts in order for them to organize for this company 4 targeted one-to-one meetings with potential Syrian co-investors. The project value has been about 2 million Euro and the duration of this project has been 1.5 months. The result of this project has been that the said Cypriot client has been able to create a factory in Jordan thus opening new markets and increasing its exports in the Middle East region.
  • Project 2: CONSTRUCTION AND TOURIST INDUSTRY +

    An international Consortium comprised of a construction company, a construction technology company, an architect and civil engineer, a renewable energy company and a tourist land developer used BLC services via private funding in order for us to assist this Consortium to successfully bid for a very big international tourist beach project in Syria (Lattakia) that had been announced by the Syrian government. BLC has run a team of 6 Cypriot and Syrian experts in order for them to organize for this Consortium all relevant bidding documents work plus 6 one-to-one meetings with Syrian potential local partners and Syrian governmental officials. The project value has been estimated at about 12 billion EURO and the duration of this project activity has been 6 months. The bidding process, however, has so far been suspended by the Syrian government because of the ongoing civil war in Syria.
  • Project 3: TOURIST LAND DEVELOPMENT +

    Major Cypriot tourist land developers asked for BLC services via private funding in order for us to organize for them 7 road show VIP lunch presentations in major European and Middle East cities (at central hotels) in order for them to present to potential European and Middle East companies/investors their portfolio of real estate and tourist projects. BLC has run a team of 5 Cypriot and Swiss, German, Swedish and British and UAE experts in order for them to organize these road shows in Zurich, Frankfurt Am Main, London, Oslo, Stockholm, Cairo and Dubai. Via their local channels in the above-mentioned countries BLC has been able to invite 20-25 potential investors in each of these road shows who have seen the various presentations by the Cypriot clients. Each of these road shows has lasted for one day and they all have run within a time-spun of 2 years. The value of all of the projects presented has been tens of millions of Euro. The result has been that the Cypriot developers have been able to sell many of their real estate and tourist projects to the above-mentioned investors.
  • Project 4: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY +

    A small Greek company specializing in social media has asked for BLC services in identifying for them European companies/investors who would be interested in exploring the possibility of investing in an interesting social mobile network project invented by the said company. BLC has run a team of 4 Cypriot and Polish experts in order for them to organize a targeted 6 one-to-one meetings road show in Poland so as for this Greek company to meet and discuss with potential investors in Poland. The result has been that some of these Polish companies are considering the possibility of investing in this IT project which has been running for a year now.
  • Project 5: RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES (SOLAR) +

    A Cypriot company specializing in Green energy has asked for BLC support via private funding in identifying for them potential Middle East companies/investors who would be interested in investing various multi-million solar energy projects owned by this company. BLC has been running a team of 6 Cypriot and UAE experts in order for them to identify such investors. In case the process is successful for them relevant business trips will be organized in Cyprus in order for these potential investors to meet with the management team of this Cypriot company and hopefully reach an agreement of collaboration.
  • Project 6: RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES (WIND) +

    A major Romanian company specializing in wind energy has asked for BLC support via private funding in identifying for them potential international investors who would be interested in investing in a multi-million wind energy project owned by this company. BLC has been running a team of 5 Cypriot and other European experts in order for them to identify potential companies/investors. In case the BLC identification process is successful for them relevant business trips will be organized in Romania in order for these potential investors to meet with the management team of this Romanian company and hopefully reach an agreement of collaboration. This project has been running for more than a year now.
  • Project 7: BEVERAGE INDUSTRY +

    A major Cypriot wine producer has asked for BLC support via private funding in entering the Polish market and identifying potential importers/distributors for the various wine products produced by the said company. BLC has run a team of 5 Cypriot and Polish experts in order for them to identify potential Polish importers/distributors. A relevant market research has been contacted and 8 one-to-one meetings with potential Polish leads have been arranged. The subsequent business trip to Poland has enabled the Cypriot wine producer to identify new distribution channels and thus to increase its export volume. The duration of this project has been 6 months.
  • Project 8: FOOD INDUSTRY +

    A major Cypriot ice-cream producer has asked for BLC support via private funding in entering the Polish market and identifying potential importers/distributors for the various ice-cream products produced by the said company. BLC has run a team of 5 Cypriot and Polish experts in order for them to identify potential Polish importers/distributors. A relevant market research has been contacted and 6 one-to-one meetings with potential Polish leads have been arranged. The subsequent business trip to Poland has enabled the Cypriot ice-cream producer to identify new distribution channels in an effort to increase its export volume. This project has lasted for two months.
  • Project 9: FOOD INDUSTRY +

    A small factory producing pastry leaves, kunafa and strundel-leaves (for pies) has asked for BLC support via private funding in entering the Egyptian market and identifying potential importers/distributors for the various pastry leaves products produced by the said company. BLC has run a team of 5 Cypriot and Egyptian experts in order for them to identify potential Egyptian importers/distributors. A relevant market research will be contacted and 4-6 one-to-one meetings with potential Egyptian leads will be arranged. The subsequent business trip to Egypt will enable the Cypriot pastry leaves producer to identify new Egyptian distribution channels in an effort to increase its export volume.
  • Project 10: PROFESSIONAL SERVICES +

    A world-known accounting firm has asked for BLC services via private funding in having BLC arrange for them a VIP lunch presentation road show in China (Shanghai) so as for the above-mentioned firm to present to a pre-selected group of 25-35 Chinese companies/investors its portfolio of services by simultaneously promoting Cyprus as an attractive investment destination. BLC has run a team of 10 Cypriot and Chinese experts in order for a relevant market research to be contacted and a subsequent road show to be arranged. The road show has been successfully arranged and the primary goal of this road show has been to attract Chinese potential investors to Cyprus in order for them to invest in various Cypriot banking, financial and real estate products / projects.
  • Project 11: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY +

    A major Cypriot IT company, activated in e-banking and mobile financial services, has asked for BLC assistance in raising funds for a new company expansion. BLC an our German local associates have organized a targeted 6 one-to-one meetings road show in Germany so as for this Cypriot company to meet and discuss with potential investors/companies the said project. The result of this road show has been that some of these German investors/companies are considering the possibility of investing in this IT project.
  • Project 12: MEDICINE +

    A major Cypriot eye clinic has asked BLC assistance in raising funds for a further development of an evolutionary eye-disease curing method that can reverse blindness on human-beings. BLC an our UK local associates have organized a targeted 4 one-to-one meetings road show in the UK so as for this Cypriot clinic’s management team to meet and discuss with UK and other international potential investors/companies the said project. The result of this road show has been that some of these UK and international investors/companies are considering the possibility of investing in this breakthrough medical project.
